Jeffrey Maddox is a third generation builder, with over 30 years of experience following after his father and grandfather, who started in Fort Myers in 1964, when only one gas station existed. He has been involved in commercial construction, starting with one of the largest interior subcontracting firms in the United States. He has worked on many retail projects, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, schools, medical offices, commercial buildings, historical, industrial and churches projects throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Maddox founded Maddox Construction Company on the attitude “With hard work and smart work, comes success.” With this in mind, each project becomes a rewarding experience for both the owner and architect. Mr. Maddox prides his company being able to complete projects on time and within budget so the owners are able to start their successful business without any delays.
William Azevedo has successfully worked in the construction field for over 34 years has provided clients and partners with exceptional commercial construction results. Mr. Azevedo has twenty-nine years working in Southwest Florida. Mr. Azevedo has experienced all positions that the construction industry has to offer. Starting as a carpenter’s helper for his father’s construction company, Mr. Azevedo evolved into a successful co-owner of Maddox Construction Company. Mr. Azevedo does not only possess the experience of working in construction he has the passion for building, remodeling, and renovating buildings that only a lifelong dedication can bring forth. Mr. Azevedo believes in keeping his eyes on each project leaving nothing to chance. This gives the owners and architects an assurance that their project will be completed properly with attention to detail and completed on time.
Louis Gaetjens has over 17 years of experience in the Information Technology field and holds several certifications acrossed multiple platforms. Louis has help set standards in networking and infrastructure for multiple companies including Camden County 911 Communications Center, Automatic Data Processing, and SSR Asset Recovery. Certifications include A+, MCP, MOS, MCSE, MCTS, CCNA and CCNP.
Mr. Hill is an active Superintendent overseeing all ongoing projects at Ave Maria, FGCU and various other location though out Southwest Florida. Mr. Hill came to Maddox Construction via Akron Ohio where he was an inspector of various civil projects including Ohio Turnpike construction, new water treatment plant in East Sparta including new raw water lines and upgrading the existing water service. New road construction in Mogadore including new waterlines, sanitary sewer, catch basins and storm water drainage. Mill and fill asphalt projects for city streets and privately owned parking areas for shopping centers. Mr. Hill joined the Maddox Construction Team in May of 2018..
Nicholas Touton joined Maddox Construction in 2010 as a carpenter and was promoted to supervisor in 2013. Nicholas is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of carpentry, he has experience with supervision of job sites, scheduling of sub-contractors, developing / continuing relationships with county and city inspectors. As a side, before joining Maddox Construction Nicholas was in the United States Army where he was a squad leader and operated M1A1 Abrams tanks. Nicholas was deployed to Baghdad Iraq in 2010 and performed combat missions.
Carol has headed the Accounting Department since 2011 at Maddox Construction Company. She has been in Construction Accounting since 1997. Her experiance details the following: handling all aspects of commercial/residential trade. Her duties extend far beyond accounting. Carol also oversees human resources, payroll, certified payroll, contracts, Davis Bacon Act, change orders, job costing, billing, collections, release of liens, some permitting and all insurance/license related items.
Ryland Azevedo joined Maddox Construction in 2014 as an Assistant Superintendent and was promoted to Superintendent in 2015. Ryland is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the construction industry. As a Marine Ryland has experience supervising large groups of people, multi taking under extreme stress he brings this experience with him to Maddox Construction as he is tasked with supervision of job sites, scheduling of sub-contractors, developing / continuing relationships with county and city inspectors and individual owners. As a side, before joining Maddox Construction Ryland was in the United States Marine Corps where he was a squad leader as a combat engineer in charge of demolitions and construction of base housing and training facilities. Ryland saw deployments a crossed the Middle East and Africa between 2010 thru 2014.
Tom Brown joined Maddox Construction in 2008 as an assistant Project Manager, in 2010 Tom was promoted to Project Coordinator and in 2012 he was promoted to Estimator / Project Manager. Tom is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the construction industry, he has experience with estimating and project management, Tom’s overall responsibilities include but are not limited to; successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects. Tom graduated from Florida Southwestern State College with an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design with a specialization in building construction.
